Operatives of the Main Department of Internal Security of the Security Service of Ukraine exposed 3 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on attempt to sell weapons. It is referred to unaccounted small arms and ammunition, which they planned to smuggle out from the garrison.

According to the decision of the investigating judge of the Kramatorsk District Court, law enforcement officers conducted a search at one of the military units.

During the investigation, in particular, the following items were seized:

• AGL - automatic grenade launcher 4 pcs.
• RPG – rocket propel grenade launchers 2 pcs.
• PKM – modernized Kalashnikov machine gun 1 pc.
• PKT - Kalashnikov tank machine gun 3 pcs.
• AK 74 - Kalashnikov assault rifle 1 pc.
• AK 47 - Kalashnikov assault rifle 1 pc.
• AKMS - Kalashnikov assault rifle with an under-folding steel stock 4 pcs.
• GP 25 - grenade launchers 10 pieces.
• PM - Makarov pistol 1 pc.
• barrel for PKT 2 pcs.
• barrel for PK 1 pc.

Currently, urgent investigative actions are continuing.

The operation was carried out jointly with the Main Department of the National Police in Donetsk region under the procedural guidance of the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office in the Military and Defense Sphere of the Joint Forces Operation.
