SSU serves new suspicion notices in absentia to russian propagandist Olga Skabeeva

The Security Service of Ukraine has collected new evidence of criminal activity of russian propagandist Olga Skabeeva, who justifies russia’s war against Ukraine and calls for capturing our country.

According to the investigation, Skabeeva is a member of the kremlin’s media pool, which uses her for mass dissemination of informational and psychological manipulations in the interests of moscow.

Among other things, it was documented that the propagandist repeatedly called for capture of Kyiv, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia and other large cities of Ukraine.

She also suggested that the occupation command destroy Ukraine’s energy infrastructure in order to cut off power to entire regions of the country.

To do this, Skabeeva agitated for the use of combined missile and drone strikes by ruscists on key energy generating enterprises, especially during the cold season.

She regularly promotes these and other theses in the 60 minutes program on one of the kremlin’s leading mouthpieces – rossiya-1 TV channel.

Forensic linguistic examinations initiated by the SSU confirmed the facts of the enemy propagandist’s information and subversive activities.

Based on the evidence, SSU investigators notified the perpetrator of suspicion in absentia under four Articles of the CCU:

  • 110.3 (encroachment on Ukraine’s territorial integrity and inviolability, which led to death of people or other grave consequences);
  • 436-2.3 (justification, recognition as legitimate, denial of russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine, glorification of its participants, committed with the use of mass media);
  • 109.3 (actions aimed at forceful change or overthrow of the constitutional order or seizure of state power, committed with the use of mass media);
  • 436 (propaganda of war).

As the suspect is hiding from prosecution in russia, efforts are underway to bring her to justice for her crimes against Ukraine.

The investigation was carried out under the procedural supervision of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
