These are three russian generals and other members of the command of the occupation groupings of the russian guard:

  • major general Dmitry Chistyakov - commander of the 102nd separate operational brigade in the republic of Dagestan, russia;
  • major general Alexey Dombrovsky, deputy head of the main directorate of the russian guard in Krasnodar krai;
  • major general Yuriy Lukachev, commander of the 22nd separate operational brigade ‘Cobra’ of North Caucasus district of the russian guard (colonel at the time);

According to the investigation, at the beginning of the full-scale war, these russian officials ordered their subordinates to attack the power facility using heavy weapons.

During the seizure of the nuclear power plant, the russians fired at the NPP from tanks and other types of armored vehicles.

As a result of the fire, a plant employee and two other citizens were killed, and a fourth was injured. In addition, the enemy shelling could have damaged the process equipment and caused a man-made disaster.

Based on the evidence, SSU investigators served the mentioned russian servicemen notices of suspicion in absentia under Articles 28.2, 438.1 of the CCU (violation of laws and customs of war, committed by a group, upon prior conspiracy).

The indictments against the suspects have been submitted to court.
