SSU declares ruscists suspects in absentia for killing civilians in Kherson using drones
The SSU Counterintelligence has collected evidence against 10 russian servicemen who deliberately use strike drones against civilians in Kherson.
The investigation has revealed that a group of drone operators from the 404th motorised rifle regiment of territorial defence, part of the russian ‘Dnipro’ military grouping, is involved in these war crimes.
The individuals in question are:
- Tsolak Grigoryan, call sign ‘Boroda’;
- Nikita Gubar, call sign ‘Drovosek’;
- Nikolai Denysenko, call sign ‘Gami’;
- Vladimir Klimov, call sign ‘Klim’;
- Vyacheslav Kornenkov, call sign ‘Skif’;
- Viktor Nizhnikov, call sign ‘Fliaga’;
- Ruslan Nugaev, call sign ‘Dok’;
- Vladimir Orlov, call sign ‘Yakut’;
- Ivan Prusachenko, call sign ‘Prus’;
- Oleg Pukhlyakov, call sign ‘Pulya’.
According to the investigation, these ruscists deliberately track the movements of people on the city’s streets and launch UAVs equipped with cumulative and high-explosive fragmentation munitions at them.
Among the documented incidents are attacks on civilian transport and residential areas of Kherson, dropping of explosives on ambulances on the grounds of the city hospital, as well as a ‘double’ strike targeting State Emergency Service rescuers in the aftermath of enemy artillery shelling.
As a result of the russian attacks, the victims sustained multiple shrapnel wounds, burns, concussions and other injuries of varying severity. Civilian infrastructure also sustained significant damage.
Based on the evidence gathered, SSU investigators notified the perpetrators in absentia of suspicion under Article 438.1 of the CCU (war crimes).
Comprehensive efforts to punish them for the killings of our civilian population are underway.
The investigation was carried out by the SSU Kherson Office in conjunction with the State Border Guard Service under the procedural supervision of the regional Prosecutor’s Office.
