SSU serves in absentia notice of suspicion to ruscist supplying russian army with planes to bomb Ukraine

The Security Service of Ukraine has collected evidence against Yuriy Sliusar, CEO of the russian United Aircraft Corporation, which supplies combat aircraft to the russian army.

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, this official has reformatted the work of russia’s aviation industry to meet the needs of the military-industrial complex.

He stepped up the production and modernization of combat aircraft for the bombing of Ukraine and, since 24 February 2022, has ensured the production of over 100 aircraft.

Primarily, these are Tu-22M3 bombers and MiG-31 fighters, which attack Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure with cruise and ballistic missiles, particularly Kinzhal.

Under Sliusar’s leadership, the ruscist troops also receive Su-24M, Su-25, Su-35, Su-57 fighters and Il-76MD-90A military transport aircraft.

According to the evidence, the official coordinates his actions with russia’s highest military and political leadership and executes their ‘defence’ order.

Based on the documented facts, SSU investigators served Sliusar a notice of suspicion in absentia under Articles 27.5, 28.2, 437.2 of the CCU (aiding and abetting in the conduct of aggressive war, upon prior conspiracy, by a group).

Efforts to bring him to justice for crimes against Ukraine are ongoing.

The investigation was carried out under the procedural supervision of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
