SSU serves suspicion notice in absentia to russian propagandist Vladimir Solovyov

The Security Service of Ukraine has documented the crimes of russian propagandist Vladimir Solovyov, who popularizes russia’s war against Ukraine, justifies ruscist war crimes and calls for genocide of Ukrainians.

According to the investigation, Solovyov is a member of putin’s media pool and is one of the main mouthpieces of the kremlin.

The SSU has documented that he repeatedly called for a tactical nuclear strike on Ukraine.

In recent speeches on kremlin television, he called for a complete seizure of four regions in the south and east of Ukraine.

He regularly repeats this in his programmes on rossiya-1 TV channel, a project with the same name on moscow radio, and on his Telegram channel.

During 2024-2025, the propagandist repeatedly urged to destroy civilian infrastructure and residents of Ukrainian cities in different regions of our country, particularly through russian air attacks.

Based on the documented facts, SSU investigators served Solovyov a notice of suspicion under five Articles of the CCU:

  • 110.3 (encroachment on Ukraine’s territorial integrity and inviolability);
  • 442.2 (genocide);
  • 436-2.3 (justification, recognition as lawful, denial of russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine, glorification of its participants);
  • 109.3 (actions aimed at forceful change or overthrow of the constitutional order or seizure of state power);
  • 436 (propaganda of war).

Since the perpetrator is hiding from justice in russia, efforts are underway to bring him to prosecution.

The investigation was carried out under the procedural supervision of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
