Donetsk region: SSU detains 4 russian agents who guided KAB aerial bombs

The SSU detained another four agents of russian special services who were adjusting enemy strikes in Donetsk region. The suspects tried to provide the aggressor with the coordinates of the Defense Forces' positions in Lyman, Kramatorsk and Sloviansk directions.

According to the investigation, the enemy informants are local residents who are supporting ruscism or are looking for “quick” money on Telegram channels.

All four suspects acted separately from each other and fulfilled the assignments of different russian supervisors.

The detainees include two traitors from Lyman and Sloviansk. Following FSB’s instructions, they were spying on the locations of Ukrainian artillery, which keeps fire control over the assault groups of the russian armed forces.

The occupiers planned to conduct additional reconnaissance using drones and then attack with guided aerial bombs if potential targets were identified by informants.

Another FSB agent is a resident of Kramatorsk, who was adjusting the ruscist air strikes on military hospitals where wounded soldiers of the Defense Forces were treated.

SSU officers prevented enemy attacks by detaining an accomplice of the russian intelligence service in time.

Another traitor worked for the occupiers' military intelligence (‘the GRU’). He established the coordinates of bridges used to transport Ukrainian armored vehicles to the eastern front.

SSU investigators served the detainees suspicion notices under the following articles of the CCU:

  • 111.2 (high treason committed under martial law);
  • 114-2.2 (unauthorized dissemination of information on sending, transfer of weapons, armaments and ammunition to Ukraine, movement, transfer or deployment of the AFU or other lawful military formations).

Suspects are in custody and face life imprisonment with confiscation of property.

The operation was carried out by the SSU Office in Donetsk and Luhansk region under the procedural supervision of Donetsk Region Prosecutor’s Office.
