SSU detains 5 Russian collaborators and ‘thief in law’ (video)
The SSU does not stop successfully exposing traitors and enemy’s agents.
The following is a report on our operations including one related to illicit crossing of the state border.
In Donetsk region:
Over the past 24 hours, the SSU detained four individuals who assisted Russian occupiers in shelling Ukrainian cities and villages.
In Pokrovsk, Donetsk region, the Service detained a couple of locals who worked for the aggressor state.
Following the instructions of a supervising Russian military serviceman from the temporarily occupied territory, the man and woman took photos and videos of airfields, power plants, bridges, etc. They sent the photos and footage to the enemy for a monetary reward. Russians used the intelligence for launching missile and artillery strikes on Ukrainian territory.
The SSU also apprehended two Kramatorsk residents who were spying on the movement of Ukrainian Armed Forces in the East and were passing the information to the DNR illegal armed formation.
In Zakarpattia region:
A 24-year-old native of Kyiv was detained for treason. He collected intelligence and through a messenger app passed on to the aggressor photos of the movement and stationing of Ukrainian military equipment.
The intelligence was used by the occupying forces for planning of offensive and terrorist operations.
The informant came to Berehovo district of Zakarpattia to lie low. He was waiting for further instructions from the enemy, however, was captured by the SSU.
In Vinnytsia region:
The SSU jointly with the Border Guard Service is blocking attempts to cross the state border illegally. In particular, 10 Ukrainian deserters trying to flee to Moldova were detained.
