SSU detains FSB agent who used disability status to cross checkpoints and adjust russian attacks on Dnipropetrovsk region
The Security Service of Ukraine has detained another enemy agent in Dnipropetrovsk oblast. Tasked by russia’s federal security service, he collected coordinates of defence plants and energy facilities, which the enemy was preparing to attack with missiles and drones.
The spotter is a 47-year-old resident of Pavlohrad who wished for the occupation of the region, as he wrote on Telegram channels.
The individual had a Group I disability, which he used when law enforcement officers checked his documents, and to cross checkpoints unhindered when he went out to collect intelligence.
The agent walked around the city and its suburbs, looking for sites that, in his opinion, could be used to carry out defence orders. He then passed this information to the occupiers.
The enemy was interested in the data on the location of production workshops manufacturing combat UAVs.
The agent also recorded the outer perimeters of electrical substations on his phone camera.
The ruscists planned to use his data for air strikes on the region.
The SSU detained the traitor at an early stage of his reconnaissance activities.
A smartphone with evidence of working for the enemy was seized during the search of the suspect’s home.
SSU investigators notified the detainee of suspicion under Article 111.2 of the CCU (high treason, committed under martial law).
The perpetrator is in custody without bail and faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
The operation was carried out by the SSU Office in Dnipropetrovsk region under the procedural supervision of the regional Prosecutor’s Office.
