SSU detains FSB agent who spied on defenders of frontline Pokrovsk
The Security Service of Ukraine has apprehended another agent of russia’s federal security service in Donetsk region. He is a 21-year-old local resident who was collecting intelligence to prepare new ruscist attacks in the hottest frontline area – Pokrovsk direction.
According to the investigation, the traitor was recruited by the FSB through Telegram channels.
The enemy agent spied on command posts and strongholds of Ukrainian troops.
On russia’s instructions, he tried to identify the coordinates of combat positions of the AFU artillery, which fires at the russian assault units trying to break through to Pokrovsk.
The SSU uncovered the perpetrator at an early stage, documented his crimes and took action to protect the positions of the Defense Forces.
At the final stage of the special operation, the agent was detained.
SSU investigators served him a notice of suspicion under Article 111.2 of the CCU – high treason committed under martial law.
The suspect is in custody and faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
The operation was carried out by the SSU Office in Donetsk and Luhansk regions under the procedural supervision of Donetsk Region Prosecutor’s Office.
