SSU detains FSB agent adjusting russian missile strikes on Ukrainian units: earlier he joined construction company to build AFU command posts
The Security Service of Ukraine has detained another agent of russia’s federal security service in Kharkiv. He turned out to be a 32-year-old employee of a construction company that is building backup command posts for the city’s defenders.
The traitor got a job at this company to coordinate russian missile and bomb attacks on newly built Ukrainian Armed Forces installations.
The SSU established that the agent obtained the coordinates of these locations while installing ventilation systems for the underground shelters at the command posts.
In addition to transmitting geolocations, the agent informed the enemy about the engineering features of potential targets.
For secrecy, the traitor deleted all texts with his handler from his phone after each communication session.
SSU cyber units uncovered and documented the perpetrator’s contacts with the occupiers and detained him at his home.
Simultaneously, action was taken to protect the locations of the Defense Forces.
The investigation also established how the agent recorded the movement of Ukrainian armoured vehicles towards the front line.
He made hidden video recordings on his phone camera returning home after his shift.
SSU investigators notified the detainee of suspicion under Article 111.2 of the CCU (high treason, committed under martial law).
The suspect is in custody without bail and faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
The operation was carried out by the SSU Kharkiv Office under the procedural supervision of the regional Prosecutor’s Office.
