Dnipro: SSU detains FSB terrorist plotting to disrupt heating season

The SSU has detained two FSB agents who were adjusting russian air attacks on the energy infrastructure of Dnipro. The enemy attempted to disrupt the start of the heating season in the frontline city with massive strikes on power and heat generating enterprises.

According to the investigation, two drivers from a logistics company who delivered freight for local businesses guided the strikes on the regional center.

While on assignment, they took photos and marked the Google Maps locations of critical energy facilities that supply power to Dnipro citizens' residences, schools, kindergartens, and hospitals.

The agents sent the gathered intelligence to a handler.

It has been established that one of the suspects came to the attention of the occupiers before the start of the full-scale war, while he was transporting goods to the Belgorod region.

This fall an officer of the russian special service contacted the traitor, recruited him remotely and tasked with adjusting attacks on the city.

To carry out assignments, the agent involved his partner driver.

SSU officers detained both agents at their home in Dnipro.

During searches, the detainees were seized of evidence of working for the FSB, items of pro-kremlin agitation, including a pennant standard of the russian Airborne Forces and a figurine of putin.

SSU investigators have notified them of suspicion under Article 111.2 of the CCU (high treason, committed under martial law).

The enemy accomplices are in custody without the right to bail and face life imprisonment with confiscation of property.

The operation was carried out by the SSU Office in Dnipropetrovsk region under the procedural supervision of regional Prosecutor’s Office.
