SSU detains FSB agents who adjusted russian strikes on Dnipro

In Dnipropetrovsk oblast, the SSU Counterintelligence has apprehended another two FSB agents who were adjusting russian air strikes on the region.

The individuals were recruited via Telegram when they were looking for quick money. The assets acted separately but had one common handler. His identity has already been established by the SSU.

One of the detained is a 47-year-old former employee of a local defense enterprise who, on FSB’s orders, was searching for combat positions of anti-aircraft missile and radar systems of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The traitor also passed to the occupiers the coordinates of repair bases and other logistics centers of the Defense Forces.

Another enemy agent is a 54-year-old car park security guard from Dnipro. For the russian special service, he drove around the outskirts of the city, trying to locate the positions of Ukrainian air defense units.

In addition to reconnaissance sorties, the spy elicited the necessary information from acquaintances during seemingly common conversations.

During the searches, phones with evidence of working for russia were seized from the suspects.

SSU investigators notified the detainees of suspicion under Article 111.2 of the CCU – high treason committed, under martial law).

The suspects are in custody without bail and face life imprisonment with confiscation of property.

The operation was carried out by the SSU Office in Donetsk and Luhansk regions under the procedural supervision of Donetsk Region Prosecutor’s Office.
