SSU detains FSB agent installing GPS tracker for russia’s attack on Kropyvnytskyi Power Plant (video)
The Security Service of Ukraine has detained another enemy accomplice who directed russian strikes at Ukrainian energy facilities. The suspect is a 16-year-old girl from Kropyvnytskyi who, on the FSB’s behalf, was preparing a missile strike on the local combined heat and power plant.
According to the investigation, the agent was instructed to install a GPS tracker disguised under the snow on the territory of the power plant. With its help, the ruscists planned to strike the energy facility in order to leave the community without electricity and heating.
The SSU uncovered the enemy’s plan at an early stage and detained the suspect red-handed at night near the facility’s fence, where she was trying to activate the digital beacon.
The investigation established that the russian intelligence had recruited the minor through a Telegram channel offering easy money.
First, she was given a test task: to film military and critical infrastructure facilities and send the videos to the FSB.
After that, the agent received an assignment to prepare a missile strike on one of the largest heat and power generation facilities in the region.
Money for the purchase of a GPS tracker were transferred to her bank card. The perpetrator ordered the device from an online store, paid for it, and picked up the order at the post office.
A smartphone with evidence of her work for the FSB was seized from the suspect during the search.
SSU investigators have notified the detainee of suspicion under Article 111.2 of the CCU (high treason, committed under martial law).
The suspect is in custody and faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
The operation was carried out by the SSU Office in Kirovohrad region under the procedural supervision of the regional Prosecutor’s Office.
