The SSU Counterintelligence has apprehended another agent of russia’s federal security service who was spying in Kyiv and Kharkiv regions.

The perpetrator collected the coordinates of Defenсe Forces units and spied on the routes of military trains.

The investigation revealed that the enemy accomplice is an unemployed resident of Fastiv who had moved there from frontline areas in Donetsk region.

She came to the FSB’s attention through an acquaintance who lives in russia and collaborates with the ruscists.

The woman was collecting intelligence on military trains under the pretext of visiting relatives and acquaintances in Kyiv and Izium. During these trips, she also marked the geolocations of military units and defensive fortifications she spotted.

She immediately forwarded the data she obtained – in the form of Google Maps marks with detailed descriptions – to her russian handler via Telegram.

The SSU documented the agent’s crimes and detained her.

A smartphone containing evidence of her work for the FSB was seized during the search of her home.

SSU investigators notified her of suspicion under Article 111.2 of the CCU (high treason, committed under martial law).

The suspect is currently in custody and faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.

The operational and investigative activities were carried out by the SSU Office in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, investigators of the SSU Office in Kyiv and Kyiv region, the State Border Guard Service, under the procedural supervision of Kyiv Region Prosecutor’s Office.
