SSU detains enemy agent who guided russian ‘Grad’ rocket launchers and ‘Shahed’ drones at targets in Kherson
The SSU has detained another agent of russian intelligence agencies who adjusted the aggressor’s strikes on Kherson.
The SSU established that over the past month this woman had been passing geolocations of Ukrainian Defence Forces to the enemy.
The traitor was surveilling locations and tracking movements of Ukrainian defenders, trying to identify their approximate number and presence of military equipment.
Using coordinates provided by her, the occupiers carried out regular shelling of the city from ‘Grad’ multiple rocket launchers and attacked Kherson with ‘Shahed’ kamikaze drones.
The intelligence was transmitted to invaders through a messenger app in the form of screenshots of maps with markings of targets.
According to the investigation, the enemy informant is a local resident, recruited remotely by the russian special services after Kherson’s de-occupation.
The woman attracted their attention because of her activity on pro-kremlin Internet resources, where she posted anti-Ukrainian comments.
During the search, the SSU seized communication devices with evidence of reconnaissance and sabotage activities for russia’s benefit.
SSU investigators have served the detainee a notice of suspicion under Article 111.2 of the CCU (high treason committed under martial law).
The suspect is in custody, facing life imprisonment.
The operation was carried out by the SSU Office in Kherson region under the procedural supervision of the regional Prosecutor’ Office.
