SSU detains agent who adjusted massive missile attack on military and energy facilities in Kharkiv
In the course of counter-sabotage measures in the liberated areas of eastern Ukraine, the SSU located and detained another enemy forward observer.
The offender ‘guided’ russian missiles at military and strategic facilities in Kharkiv oblast.
According to the investigation, the enemy accomplice is a resident of Donetsk region, recruited by the aggressor-controlled ‘dnr ministry of state security’ at the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
Following the enemy’s instructions, the man moved to Kharkiv to collect intelligence on location of units of the Defence Forces, military and critical infrastructure facilities. To do this, the agent went to the city, took photos and videos of targets and marked their geolocation on electronic maps.
The obtained information was transmitted through a ‘liaison’, who was a militant of the ‘dnr’ terrorist organization, a member of the occupation group on the eastern direction.
For communication, they used a pre-arranged Telegram channel, and the data were transmitted as media files with text descriptions of the adjacent territory.
During the search at the suspect’s home, the law enforcement found a mobile phone with evidence of communication with occupiers.
SSU investigators served the detainee a notice of suspicion under Article 111-1.7 of the CCU (collaboration). Court chose custody as a measure of restraint for the suspect.
The SSU Offices in Cherkasy and Kharkiv regions conducted the operation to expose the offender under the procedural supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office.
