The SSU notified of suspicion a propagandist of the russian television and radio company (aka VGTRK) Evgeniy Poddubnyi. As a confidant of russian highest military and political leadership, he illegally entered Ukraine during the temporary occupation of Hostomel and Borodyanka and carried out fake reporting from locations where the ruscists were raging.

There, according to the kremlin’s ‘guidelines’, the propagandist prepared the commissioned stories to support armed aggression against Ukraine, spread disinformation about the situation at the front, justify the invaders’ crimes.

Destructive content was distributed by the TV channels Russia-1, Russia-24, as well as through Telegram channels.

The decision to declare the russian internationally wanted is pending.

In Donetsk region:

The SSU Counterintelligence exposed two russian agents who were scouting combat positions of Ukrainian troops near the eastern front.

One of them was detained near Kramatorsk. He turned out to be a local resident recruited by the FSB.

According to the investigation, the agent collected intelligence on the location of Ukrainian military positions and infrastructure facilities in the region. He passed the obtained coordinates to the aggressor through secure communication channels.

The occupiers used this information for massive missile strikes on Kramatorsk.

Another traitor was detained in Bakhmut. He adjusted enemy shelling of the city. For this purpose, he created a specialized platform in Telegram, where he published for the aggressors the geolocation of movements of Ukrainian forces.

In Odesa:

The SSU disrupted two channels of illegal movement of Ukrainian men of call-up age across the border. The organizers of the scheme were detained, including an official from the district office of the State Migration Service.

For money, criminals transported their clients to a neighbouring country outside the established checkpoints for the price of USD 3,000 to 6,000 per person.

The detainees have been notified of suspicion. The court is to choose the measure of measure of restraint.

In Kyiv:

The SSU has submitted to court the file of the criminal proceedings on treason committed by two officials of the Cabinet of Ministers and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

In June, the SSU Counterintelligence exposed these officials on cooperation with the FSB. The perpetrators carried out intelligence and subversive activities in the state authorities.

Besides, the SSU Military Counterintelligence prevented the unauthorized deregistration of five jet aircraft engines for MiG multipurpose fighters worth UAH 3 mln.

The investigation established that the officials of one of the military units transferred this equipment to a state enterprise for examination of technical condition and further storage.

However, the parties did not register the concluded contract and did not draw up reporting documentation. Thus, Ukrainian MiG fighters could have remained inoperable.

Overall, since the start of russia’s full-scale invasion, the SSU has been investigating over 3,000 criminal proceedings on the encroachment on the territorial integrity of Ukraine.
