Kharkiv region: SSU detains local council member who ordered to convert Ukrainian hospitals into ruscist military hospitals

As a result of stabilization efforts in the liberated areas of Kharkiv oblast, the SSU Counterintelligence exposed another collaborator.

The enemy accomplice is a member of Kupiansk District Council, who previously headed the town’s healthcare department.

After the district center was captured, the official supported russian invaders and voluntarily offered his assistance in organizing the treatment of wounded ruscists.

For this, he was appointed head of the ‘healthcare department of the military and civilian administration of Kupiansk district of russia’.

In this ‘position’, the collaborator immediately ordered ‘conversion of Ukrainian hospitals into military hospitals for ruscists’.

The ‘official’ personally ordered to treat servicemen of the russian occupation forces, including militants of the terrorist organizations ‘L/DNR’.

After Kupiansk’s liberation, the traitor hoped to evade justice and ‘get lost’ among local population. However, the SSU found and detained him.

The SSU seized from the suspect documents with evidence of his criminal orders for the benefit of the aggressor state.

Based on the evidence, the detained individual was served a notice of suspicion of collaboration (Article 111-1.5 of the CCU).

When SSU investigators notified him of suspicion, the man fully admitted his guilt.

Court is to decide on custody as a measure of restraint.

The SSU carried out the operation and investigative activities under the procedural supervision of Kupiansk District Prosecutor’s Office.
