SSU detains Stremousov’s ‘follower’ who guided russian missiles at power substations in Odesa oblast

In the course of counter-sabotage efforts in Odesa region, the SSU detained another FSB agent.

The offender is a local ‘follower’ of collaborator Stremousov. At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the enemy accomplice tried to organize a propaganda network in Odesa, which called local population to support russian invaders.

To do this, the man administered several pro-russian Telegram channels, where he spun disinformation on the situation at the southern front and tried to discredit Ukrainian Defence Forces.

Later, the agent performed additional assignments from his FSB ‘handler’, for example, collected intelligence on locations of the Defence Forces in the region.

He also passed coordinates of local critical infrastructure, including power substations, to the aggressor.

Occupiers used these data to prepare and carry out targeted missile strikes on Ukrainian energy facilities.

The SSU identified and detained the traitor while he was conducting reconnaissance.

A search of the enemy agent’s home residence revealed computer equipment, flash drives and documents confirming his unlawful activities.

Based on the collected evidence, SSU investigators notified the individual of suspicion under Article 111.2 of the CCU (high treason committed under martial law).

The suspect is in custody. The investigation is ongoing.

The SSU Office in Odesa region carried out the operation under the procedural supervision of the regional Prosecutor’s Office.
