SSU detains another russia’s agent - official of town council in Mykolaiv region

The SSU Counterintelligence has apprehended another enemy agent in Mykolaiv region. She is a 57-year-old employee of one of the departments of Pervomaisk Town Council who was spying on the defenders of the southern region.

The Security Service detained her while she was at a meeting with her superiors and colleagues.

The traitor tried to identify new locations of Ukrainian Armed Forces units, which had moved from their standard bases after the start of the full-scale war.

During her reconnaissance sorties, the agent also recorded routes, number, and names of Defense Forces military equipment heading to the front line.

She sent the collected data to a spy chatbot administered by a traitor, Sergei Lebedev (also known as ‘Lokhmatyi’), who is hiding in Donetsk.

The enemy ‘admin’ forwarded the intelligence data to his handlers in two russian special services – the FSB and the GRU.

The occupiers planned to use this information to prepare new series of russian missile and drone attacks on the region.

The SSU worked proactively and detained the suspect.

Computer equipment and mobile phones were seized from her during searches.

Based on the evidence, SSU investigators notified the detainee of suspicion under Article 111.2 of the CCU (high treason, committed under martial law).

The perpetrator is in custody and faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.

The operation was carried out by the SSU Office in Mykolaiv region under the procedural supervision of the regional Prosecutor’s Office.
