SSU detains russian agent who guided missiles at school and hospital in Lyman

He also passed to enemy the coordinates of social and critical infrastructure facilities in Lyman.
Occupiers used the obtained data to prepare and carry out massive missile strikes on the Ukrainian town.
Using the informant’s intelligence, russian invaders carried out an air strike on a local school and a regional clinical hospital.
After the enemy attack, the man went to the area to take photos and videos of the damaged buildings and send a ‘report’ to his russian handlers.
The SSU detained the suspect when he was passing information to the aggressor.
According to the investigation, the detainee is a local resident, who in April this year was recruited by russian special services to carry out sabotage activities in the region.
Anonymous messenger apps were used for communication with the enemy.
During the detention, a mobile phone with evidence of communication with russian supervisors was found on the suspect.
The detainee has been served a notice of suspicion under the Article 114-2.3 of the CCU (unauthorized dissemination of information on transfer, movement of weapons and ammunition to Ukraine, movement, transfer or deployment of the AFU or other lawful military formations, committed under martial law).
Court chose custody as a measure of restraint.
The SSU Office in Donetsk and Luhansk regions carried out the operation under the procedural supervision of Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
