SSU detains enemy informant who adjusted strikes on Ukrainian paratroopers’ positions near Bakhmut
The SSU Counterintelligence has detained another informant of russian intelligence services who spied on the Defence Forces in Donetsk region.
The aggressor was interested in data on locations and directions of movement of Ukrainian defenders involved in counteroffensive operations near Bakhmut.
The traitor passed to the invaders coordinates of temporary deployment and movement of Ukrainian airborne units towards the frontline.
The SSU timely uncovered this activity and informed Ukrainian command on possible threats. Measures were taken to protect the Defence Forces units.
According to the investigation, the enemy accomplice is a resident of the frontline Kostiantynivka.
The woman periodically published information on movements of Ukrainian defenders in Donetsk region on pro-kremlin web-resources.
It was in this way that russian special services tried to obtain such intelligence.

She posted the collected information in the form of text messages on a pro-russian Telegram channel.
During the searches, the SSU found a mobile phone with evidence of her communication with the aggressor.
SSU investigators served the suspect a notice of suspicion under Article 114-2.2 of the CCU (unauthorized dissemination of information on the sending, transfer of weapons, armaments and ammunition to Ukraine, movement, transfer or deployment of the AFU).
The suspect is in custody, facing up to 8 years in prison.
