The Security Service has detained four kremlin supporters who justified russia’s armed aggression and spread disinformation on Ukraine’s Defence Forces.

In Kyiv region, an administrator of a Telegram channel was exposed for spreading disinformation about the Armed Forces of Ukraine and calling for the disruption of mobilisation.

The perpetrator also called the aggressor state to carry out precision strikes on Ukraine’s defence facilities and critical infrastructure.

In Kherson region, a woman was detained for preparing and sending emails to government agencies questioning the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our state.

As the investigation established, she referred to russia’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine as an ‘internal civil conflict’.

The agitator also justified the temporary occupation of Crimea and parts of Donbas, Zaporizhzhia oblast, and the left bank of the Kherson region.

In Cherkasy region, one more individual received a notice of suspicion for spreading disinformation in chat groups on a popular messaging app regarding the activities of the Defence Forces and the operational situation at the front.

It was also documented that the provocateur called on ruscists to continue shelling Ukraine’s power and heat-generating facilities.

In Zakarpattia, an online agitator was exposed: on social media, he called for the ‘secession’ of Ukraine’s western region.

Linguistic analyses initiated by the SSU confirmed the suspects’ information-subversive activities in russia’s favour.

SSU investigators have notified the detainees of suspicion of committing crimes under several Articles of the CCU:

• 110.1 (encroachment upon the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine);
• parts 1, 2, and 3 of 436-2 (justification, recognition as lawful, or denial of russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine, and glorification of its participants).

The perpetrators face up to 8 years in prison with confiscation of property.

The operations were carried out by the SSU Offices in Kyiv and Kyiv region, in Kherson, Cherkasy, and Zakarpattia regions under the procedural supervision of the regional Prosecutors’ Offices.
