SSU detains another four enemy accomplices who justified ruscist war crimes and wished for occupation of Ukraine

The Security Service has detained another four pro-kremlin internet agitators who operated in several regions of Ukraine. The perpetrators justified russia’s armed aggression and denied the war crimes committed by russian forces.

In Chernihiv, a 41-year-old local court secretary was detained for calling on russian forces to carry out massive strikes on Ukrainian cities, including civilian infrastructure.

She regularly discussed this with her russian acquaintances, with whom she spoke on the phone.

In Kyiv, a 24-year-old local unemployed man was exposed. On FSB’s orders, he was supposed to disseminate leaflets with fake kremlin propaganda.

To carry out this task, the young man received an electronic layout of the flyer from the occupiers. Among other things, the image contained a QR code that directed users to an anti-Ukrainian online community.

The SSU detained him when he ordered the printing of the first batch of 900 pro-russian leaflets at a printing house.

A 56-year-old resident was apprehended in Kharkiv. He created a channel on the russian platform Rutube to call on ruscists to seize the region.

The man also administered a Telegram channel where he promoted russian occupation forces and tried to discredit the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In Vinnytsia region, a 60-year-old resident of Haisyn district was detained. On his page on the banned social network Odnoklassniki, he wrote posts in support of the occupation of eastern regions of Ukraine.

Forensic linguistic examinations initiated by the SSU confirmed the facts of the perpetrators’ subversive activities against Ukraine.

SSU investigators have notified the detainees of suspicion of committing crimes under several Articles of the CCU, according to the actions each of them carried out:

  • 15.3, 27.2, 28.2, 114-1.1 (unfinished attempt to obstruct the lawful activities of the AFU and other military formations during a special period, committed by a group, upon prior conspiracy);
  • parts 2 and 3, 436-2 (justification, recognition as lawful, denial of russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine, glorification of its participants);
  • 109.2 (public calls for forceful change of the constitutional order, as well as distribution of materials calling for such actions);
  • 110.1 (distribution of materials calling for a change in the boundaries of the territory and state border of Ukraine).

The suspects are in custody and face up to 8 years in prison with confiscation of property.

The operations were carried out under the procedural supervision of the Prosecutor’s Offices.
