SSU detains another two enemy agents who adjusted russian attacks on Donetsk region’s defenders

In Donetsk region, the Security Service of Ukraine has apprehended another two enemy agents. They were adjusting the aggressor’s air strikes on the locations of the Defence Forces in the frontline areas.

To identify the coordinates for guided aerial bombs, each of the agents acted separately in a certain area and communicated to the russian handler.

One of the enemy accomplices, detained in Kramatorsk, is a 41-year-old businesswoman. On FSB orders, she was spying under the cover of selling food.

The traitor was covertly observing checkpoints and defense strongholds which she passed in her car during commercial trips through the community.

The agent was marking the geolocations of military facilities on Google maps for a further ‘report’ to the russian special service.

The woman came to the FSB’s attention when she published posts on Telegram channels in which she tried to discredit Ukrainian defenders.

Another perpetrator is a 42-year-old resident of Sloviansk who worked for the russian military intelligence (‘the GRU’).

On the occupiers’ instructions, the man tried to identify the staffs and reserve command posts of the Defense Forces. To do this, he walked around the community spying on the sites of large concentrations of Ukrainian troops.

The agent sent the collected coordinates to the GRU through an anonymous chat on Odnoklassniki.

Mobile phones and computer equipment with evidence of sabotage against Ukraine were seized during searches.

SSU investigators notified the detainees of suspicion under Article 111.2 of the CCU (high treason, committed under martial law).

The suspects are in custody and face life imprisonment with confiscation of property.

The operations were carried out by the SSU Office in Donetsk and Luhansk regions under the procedural supervision of Donetsk Region Prosecutor’s Office.
