SSU detains another enemy informant who adjusted russian strikes on Mykolaiv region
The Security Service of Ukraine has detained another agent adjusting russian air strikes on Mykolaiv region.
The perpetrator is a 57-year-old local resident and former employee of a furniture factory.
His main task was to find and transmit the coordinates of checkpoints and other sites where Ukrainian defenders are concentrated, as well as to reconnoiter a local airfield for the presence of aircraft, military personnel and equipment.
To gather this information, the traitor drove around the target area under the pretext of running errands.
He sent the collected data to a chatbot operated by Sergei Lebedev (known as ‘Lokhmatyi’), who is hiding in Donetsk and works for the FSB and GRU. Lebedev then forwarded this information to his handlers.
The SSU cyber units identified the informant, documented his crimes and detained him at his home. At the same time, the Security Service took action to protect the locations of the Defense Forces.
Since the beginning of the full-scale war, the SSU has exposed over 30 members of Lokhmatyi’s network of informants. Most of them have already been sentenced to prison terms.
SSU investigators notified the detainee of suspicion under Article 114-2.3 of the CCU (unauthorized dissemination of information on transfer, movement of the AFU or other lawful military formations, committed under martial law).
The suspect is in custody without bail and faces up to 12 years in prison.
The operation was carried out by the SSU Office in Mykolaiv region under the procedural supervision of regional Prosecutor’s Office.
