SSU detains another three pro-russian Internet agitators in Kyiv region

The Security Service of Ukraine has apprehended three pro-russian Internet agitators who were operating in Kyiv region. They justified russia’s armed aggression and ruscist war crimes.

One of the detained is a 55-year-old woman, a juror of one of the capital’s courts, who praised putin and called for the occupation of entire Ukraine.

According to the investigation, she published hostile content in her comments on Telegram channels. For secrecy, the agitator used an anonymous account, but the SSU found her anyway.

A 49-year-old express delivery driver was detained in Sviatoshynskyi district of Kyiv. He called russia’s armed aggression a ‘civil war’ and tried to discredit the Defense Forces.

To spread the kremlin’s propaganda, the man made his own broadcasts on TikTok with an audience of 50,000 users and reposted videos from russian Internet resources.

A taxi driver was detained in Brovary, Kyiv region, who on Telegram called for repressions and executions of Ukrainians in case the capital is captured.

Forensic linguistic examinations initiated by the SSU confirmed the facts of information and subversive activities of all three detained individuals.

They have been notified of suspicion under two Articles of the CCU:

  • 436-2, parts 1, 2, 3 (justification, recognition as legitimate, denial of russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine, glorification of its participants);
  • 110.1 (encroachment on Ukraine’s territorial integrity and inviolability).

The suspects are in custody and face up to 8 years in prison with confiscation of property.
