The owner of an Internet service provider was detained for operating in the TOT of Luhansk region and collaborating with the occupiers.

The investigation revealed him to constantly be paying taxes to the russia`s occupation administration budget in the TOT of Luhansk bankrolling aggression waged by russia.

His media company is broadcasting banned russian TV channels within the region, massively imposing Kremlin narratives on local residents, primarily on the war in Ukraine.

The seizure disclosed more than UAH 7,5 mln in cash illegally gained by criminal means. The investigation identified him to set up an illegal scheme jointly with a relative residing in the temporary occupied Kadiivka, Luhansk region. There, they established a provider company and registered it with the local occupation administration of russia and roskomnadzor on the territory of the aggressor country.

The detainee and his accomplice were served a notice of suspicion under Part 2 Article 28 and Part 4 Article 111-1 of the CCU.

The complex measures to involve all the criminals are ongoing.

The investigation was carried out by the SSU in Donetsk and Luhansk regions under the supervision of the Luhansk Regional Prosecutor's Office.
