Collaborator detained in Kyiv for implementing russian ‘educational standards’ in temporarily occupied Crimea

The SSU Counterintelligence has detained another collaborator in Kyiv. She was the head of a school in the temporarily occupied Yalta who introduced russian ‘educational standards’ in this institution.

The perpetrator imposed kremlin propaganda on students and their parents, glorified the occupiers and justified their crimes against Ukraine.

The Security Service apprehended the woman upon her arrival in Kyiv to visit relatives.

The investigation established that she entered Ukraine via third countries and planned to return to Crimea via the same route to continue working for the russian occupation administration.

The education official began collaborating with the enemy in 2014 after the Ukrainian peninsula was captured. At that time, she was the director of one of the general education institutions in Yalta and immediately supported the invaders.

For this, the russian administration entrusted her with managing the local school in order to ‘reformat’ the educational process according to the kremlin ‘standards’.

The collaborator regularly held mass propaganda events, during which she imposed moscow’s propaganda narratives on schoolchildren and their parents.

At the school assemblies, the official promoted putin’s regime and supported its expansion.

The suspect was detained in Kyiv. During the search, the investigators seized russian passports and smartphones with evidence of collaboration.

The SSU has declared the detainee suspect under Article 111-1.3 of the CCU (collaboration). She is now in custody and faces imprisonment.

The operational and investigative actions were conducted jointly with investigators of the SSU Office in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea under the procedural supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office.
