SSU detains traitor in Vinnytsia who helped occupiers in Kherson region and fled after city’s liberation (video)

In the course of counter-sabotage efforts in Vinnytsia region, the SSU Counterintelligence exposed another enemy accomplice.

The offender is a resident of Beryslav, Kherson oblast, who actively cooperated with Kherson occupation administration after the area was captured.

The investigation established that the woman had passed to the enemy ‘military commandant’s office’ lists of ATO veterans and other citizens who could potentially resist the invaders.

The aggressors used this information to conduct massive ‘manhunts’ and abduct people.

The victims were required to ‘confess’ in fabricated cases. In case of refusal, occupiers tortured and threatened to kill them.

In addition, the traitor helped invaders navigate the area and showed the shortest routes to the settlements of Beryslav district for their further capture.

The woman also assisted in ‘cantonment’ of russian occupation units in the homes of locals who had fled to Ukraine-controlled territory.

She herself offered to use three of her own garage premises for keeping ruscists’ military equipment and weapons.

After the liberation of the region, the enemy accomplice tried to flee abroad to avoid justice.

However, the SSU timely established her location in Vinnytsia oblast and detained her near one of the local critical infrastructure facilities.

During the search, the SSU found a mobile phone with evidence of her communication with occupation authorities.

SSU investigators notified the detainee of suspicion of crime under the Article 111.2 of the CCU (high treason committed under martial law).

Court is to decide on custody as a measure of restraint. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.

The SSU Office in Vinnytsia Region exposed and detained the offender under the procedural supervision of the regional Prosecutor’s Office.
