In Kyiv, the SBU detained an international terrorist organization member who was wanted by Interpol.

According to the SBU, the resident of a Central Asian country is an ISIS facilitator. The woman recruited mercenaries to take part in armed conflicts in Syria.

The foreigner submitted knowingly false information in order to receive a permanent residence permit in Ukraine and avoid punishment in homeland.

The woman is currently detained for further extradition.

The search and detention operation was conducted jointly with the Sviatoshynskyi Police Department in Kyiv.
