SSU detains enemy informant who guided russian missiles at Kramatorsk hospitals and dormitories

In the course of counter-sabotage efforts in the frontline areas of Donetsk region, the SSU exposed another accomplice of the aggressor.

The offender is a woman, resident of Kramatorsk, who was remotely recruited by an officer of russia’s FSB.

To engage the woman in covert cooperation, the enemy used the banned social networks Vkontakte and Odnoklassniki, where she actively expressed support for russia’s armed aggression.

Following the FSB’s instructions, she tried to identify military airfields of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and locations of the State Border Guard Service units in the region.

The agent also walked around Kramatorsk and marked coordinates of local hospitals and dormitories on electronic maps.

Occupiers needed the intelligence to prepare and launch missile strikes on Ukrainian targets.

The SSU detained the spy while she was conducting reconnaissance for the enemy.

The SSU seized from the suspect a mobile phone, which was used to collect intelligence and communicate with the russian special service.

SSU investigators served the apprehended enemy accomplice a notice of suspicion of committing a crime.

The court chose custody as a measure of restraint. The investigation is ongoing.

The SSU Office in Donetsk and Luhansk regions conducted the operation under the procedural supervision of Donetsk Region Prosecutor’s Office.
