SSU detains traitor who guided russian glide bombs to positions of Kramatorsk defenders

The SSU Counterintelligence has apprehended another agent of russia’s federal security service in Donetsk region. He adjusted enemy attacks on the locations of the Defence Forces near Kramatorsk.

The perpetrator conducted reconnaissance near the camouflaged positions of Ukrainian troops.

In case of detecting potential targets, he transmitted to the occupiers the coordinates for the strikes with guided aerial bombs and missiles.

The enemy’s priority targets were defence strongholds, AFU staffs and artillery positions.

Due to the SSU’s prompt response, the spy was identified and documented at an early stage of his reconnaissance activities.

Simultaneously, action was taken to protect the positions of the Defence Forces in the area.

The SSU detained the enemy accomplice at his home and seized his mobile phone, which he used to communicate with his russian handler.

According to the investigation, the FSB recruited the 41-year-old employee of an agricultural enterprise from a frontline village in Kramatorsk district in December 2024.

To collect intelligence, the traitor travelled around the area in his car, spying on the locations of Ukrainian defenders.

He used his phone to send the data to the FSB as text messages and screenshots of Google maps with targets marked on them.

SSU investigators served the detainee a notice of suspicion under Article 111.2 of the CCU (high treason, committed under martial law).

The suspect is in custody and faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.

The operation was carried out by the SSU Office in Donetsk and Luhansk regions under the procedural supervision of Donetsk Region Prosecutor’s Office.
