SBU investigators have completed a pre-trial investigation of treason committed by an organizer of the FSB intelligence network.

In August 2020 in Kherson region, SBU counterintelligence officers stopped spying activity of the agent network of the enemy special service led by a former official of the regional state administration. Tasked by handlers, she organized collection of intelligence in the southern regions.

The offender is suspected of treason.

The investigators informed the suspect and her lawyers about completion of the pre-trial investigation under Art. 290 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.

The defense has already read the case papers. The indictment was sent to court.

The investigation was conducted under the supervision of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office.
