SSU neutralizes FSB agents who guided russian missiles at hospitals in Ukraine’s south (video)
As a result of a special operation in the south of Ukraine, the SSU dismantled an FSB agent network: 6 russian agents have been detained.
Enemy spies were collecting intelligence on locations of the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and law enforcement agencies in the southern oblasts.
One of the criminals posed as a volunteer.
Under the pretext of delivering aid to the front, the traitor came to Ukrainian positions and collected intelligence for the aggressor state.
The agents drove along the frontline area, collected and passed coordinates of critical infrastructure and social facilities, including local hospitals, to the enemy.
Occupiers used the data to prepare and conduct missile strikes on Ukrainian targets.
The investigation established that using information from these agents the invaders had carried out a series of attacks on medical facilities in southern Ukraine.
For each successfully completed enemy assignment, the aggressor’s accomplices received a monetary reward from their handlers. The amount depended on the importance of the target and complexity of collecting intelligence on it.
The SSU detained the offenders when they were trying to determine the exact geolocation of several Ukrainian hospitals and energy facilities.
According to the investigation, the traitors are six local residents, recruited by an officer of the russian FSB after the start of the full-scale invasion.
A specially created anonymous Telegram channel was used for communication.
Invaders ‘guaranteed’ their accomplices ‘positions’ in russian occupation administrations if southern oblasts of Ukraine are captured.
During the searches at the suspects’ homes, the SSU found their phones with evidence of crimes and bank cards to get ‘rewards’ from the aggressor.
SSU investigators have notified the detainees of suspicion under the two Articles of the CCU:
- 111.2 (high treason under martial law);
- 114-2.3 (unauthorized dissemination of information on transfer, movement of weapons and ammunition to Ukraine, movement, transfer or deployment of the AFU or other lawful military formations, committed under martial law by a group of persons by prior conspiracy or for mercenary motives, or with the aim of providing such information to an aggressor state).
The court chose custody as a measure of restraint.
The suspects are facing 15 years in prison or life imprisonment.
The SSU carried out the operation under the supervision of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
