SSU detains russian agents who adjusted missile strikes on Bakhmut (video)

As a result of a counter-sabotage operation in the eastern front-line areas, the SSU neutralized four enemy agents in Bakhmut.

They were recruited by russian special services to carry out reconnaissance and subversive activities against Ukraine. The agents identified coordinates of infrastructure facilities and collected information on deployment and movement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The suspects also tried to obtain personal data of Ukrainian defenders, including SSU employees.

The aggressors planned to use the intelligence to carry out rocket attacks on Bakhmut and acts of sabotage near the eastern front.

The traitors used specially created Telegram channels to communicate with russian handlers and send geolocation data of infrastructure facilities and positions of Ukrainian troops.

The SSU located and detained enemy informants in Bakhmut. The investigators seized communication devices with evidence of unlawful activity and an AK-74 Kalashnikov assault rifle.

At present, the detainees have been notified of suspicion; the court is to decide on custody as a preventive measure.

In Donetsk region, the SSU exposed another accomplice of the occupiers. He turned out to be an engineer of one of the strategic plants.

According to the investigation, he passed to invaders information on combat positions of Ukrainian defenders on the eastern front.

The SSU Office in Donetsk and Luhansk regions carried out the operations together with the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Police, the State Border Guard Service, the National Guard, and the Military Law and Order Service.
