SSU neutralizes russian agents who planned to adjust missile strikes on Dnipro (video)

The SSU Counterintelligence neutralized an extensive intelligence network of russian special services in Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk regions.

In particular, in Dnipro the SSU detained a russian agent who was collecting intelligence on location of mobile communication facilities.

He passed this information to occupiers in form of videos tagged to the area and with a detailed description of buildings and the surrounding area.

The man also filmed the movement of Ukrainian military units.

It has been established that his ‘liaison’ in russia was one of the pro-kremlin bloggers, who has over than 300,000 subscribers. The agent turned to him for arranging his appointment to a ‘position’ in the occupation administration in case the region is occupied.

During the searches of the suspect’s place of stay, the law enforcement seized computer equipment and communication devices, which he used to communicate with russian special services.

The detainee has been notified of suspicion of committing a crime, the court has chosen custody as a measure of restraint.

Another traitor was detained in Donetsk region. According to the investigation, he passed information to the enemy about the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the East and location of Ukrainian checkpoints and critical infrastructure in Kramatorsk district.

In Zhytomyr region, the SSU dismantled a group of the enemy’s Internet agents, which included a russian citizen.

They spread propaganda on social networks in support of russia’s aggression against Ukraine. They took the contents for their ‘posts’ from pro-kremlin online publications.

Enemy agitators have also been exposed in this region. They were two residents of Zhytomyr who publicly called on locals to support the occupiers and justified their crimes.

The SSU will continue investigative and operational activities to identify and prosecute all those involved in crimes against Ukraine.
