Officers of the SBU Special Operations Center "A" took first and second places in the Open Championship in practical shooting with a carbine, dedicated to the day of the Ukrainian special service. Following the results of competitions, NABU team took the third place.

The event, which took place at the shooting range of CSO "A", was attended by 13 teams from various law enforcement agencies. The participants of the championship competed according to the rules of the Federation of Practical Shooting of Ukraine IPSC, which provide, in particular:

• shooting with constant change of target situation;
• shooting with obstacles in the direction of the target;
• shooting at targets that suddenly appear and disappear;
• shooting, which simulates being indoors.

Each exercise allows to simulate situations taking into account the peculiarities of combat conditions. The judges evaluated the participants’ actions, paying attention to the speed of the tasks fulfillment and the number of target hits.

Representatives of the teams noted the high level of organization of the championship and the important role of the event in improving the training of Ukrainian defenders.
