SSU interrogates FSB serviceman who led ruscist anti-retreat squad (video)
Two russian prisoners of war were interrogated by the SSU Military Counterintelligence at the same time. One of them is a machine gunner of a separate company of the FSB commandant’s office, who headed an anti-retreat detachment.
The FSB serviceman speaks briefly about his military duties: ‘We stood on the second line and did not let the ‘Z assault’ retreat. The order was: if they retreated, shoot to kill.’
The second captive is the participant of the ‘Z assault’, who was afraid he would be killed by his troops on the second line. That’s why he surrendered to Ukrainian defenders.
‘After arriving there [at the positions], without any explanation, we were put in a planted forest and were told to hide from ‘birds’ – quadcopters. In case we ran away, we were told there were anti-retreat squads behind. They shoot anyone who runs away,’ the soldier describes his short war experience.
The practice of russians using barrier squads is once again confirmed by the SSU’s interception.
‘That’s it. Hold the line. Everyone: machine gunners, grenade launchers, bring mortars. Get all ‘Mavics’ up in the air. Do you copy? Use the ‘Z’s to the full, at your disposal. They take no step back, only forward. If needed, you have my permission to kill them. Under my responsibility,’ was the order given to a commander of one of these anti-retreat detachments at the frontline.
Judging by the latest developments at the front, russia is going to lose more ‘cannon fodder’ and barrier squads, and Ukrainian defenders are going to take more russian PoWs!
