In August 2021, specialists of the SBU Cyber Security Situation Center responded and neutralized 43 cyberattacks on information systems of public authorities. The SBU officers analyzed more than 36,000 security incidents.

The main types of detected cyber threats are:

• connection to C&C Serves
• attempts to gain unauthorized access (Brute Force Attack)
• Web App Attacks
• Malware

We recall that the Security Information and Event Management System (SIEM) operates on the basis of the SBU Cyber Security Situation Center, which provides real-time analysis of security alerts.

Cyber specialists systematically analyze potential security incidents. It allows to quickly detect, respond to and prevent cyber threats in the national cyberspace.
