Among the latest achievements of the SSU’s activity is the exposure of an enemy agent and identification of the russian serviceman who ordered missile strikes.

In Transcarpathia:

The SSU detained another agent of russian special services in Mukachevo. He turned out to be a russian citizen who arrived in the region to collect socio-political information.

He passed it on to his supervisors to prepare acts of sabotage and special information operations aimed at escalating the situation in the border areas.

The agent has been notified of suspicion and remanded in custody.

In Kyiv:

The SSU continues to fight against organized crime: an organizer of a channel for illegal sale of weapons and ammunition was detained. To disguise himself, he posed as a volunteer from one of volunteer formations.

The law enforcement seized a hidden arsenal of weapons from the suspect. Among them are cannon shells, a mortar mine and RGD-5 hand grenades.

The SSU cyber specialists also shut down an illegal scheme of selling counterfeit military equipment. The suspects sold homemade plate carriers, which they presented as ‘certified level 5 body armour’.

According to experts, the use of such ‘forgery’ for its intended purpose is dangerous to human life and health.

Thanks to the SSU’s prompt response, it was possible to prevent the sale of over 100 low-quality bulletproof vests to Ukrainian military in southern and western regions.

The fraudsters offered their products via the Internet and personal connections, including among volunteer organizations.

The SSU detained the organizer. He is currently in custody.

In Rivne region:

The SSU identified the commander of a unit of the russian occupation groups who gave orders to carry out a missile attack on critical infrastructure in Dubno.

Investigators informed the occupier in absentia of suspicion of violating the laws and customs of war. Investigation is underway to bring him to justice for crimes against Ukraine.

Upon the revealed facts, the SSU is working to identify and bring to justice all those involved in unlawful activity.
