Since the start of russia’s full-scale invasion, the Security Service of Ukraine has destroyed 1,006 russian tanks.

Most of the enemy armored vehicles were destroyed during the fighting in Donetsk and Kharkiv regions.

Using the heavy armoured equipment, the aggressor was trying to break through Ukrainian positions and provide cover for their assault groups.

The invaders also regularly sent tank formations to attack the defence fortifications in Zaporizhzhia oblast.

To hit russian tanks, the SSU carried out effective combat operations together with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

A maximum arsenal of armour-piercing weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles was deployed against the targets.

A large number of russian armoured vehicles were destroyed in the initial stages of the offensive – before they launched assaults on Ukrainian positions. Some tanks were destroyed along with their crews.

The SSU, working side by side with Ukraine’s Defence Forces, continues to fight against russian occupation groupings to bring Ukraine’s Victory closer.
