Following SSU investigation, FSB agent who adjusted bombings of Kramatorsk sentenced to 15 years in prison
Based on evidence collected by the Security Service of Ukraine, another enemy agent has been convicted to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property for adjusting russian attacks on Kramatorsk.
The investigation established that the woman was a member of an FSB agent network that operated in Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia and Odesa regions.
The SSU Counterintelligence dismantled the enemy cell in February 2024. All five agents were detained simultaneously as a result of a special operation in three Ukrainian oblasts.
One of them has now received a prison sentence. She is a 40-year-old former employee of a machine-building plant in Kramatorsk who adjusted russian guided aerial bomb strikes on the region.
The main targets were the Defence Forces’ reserve command posts and logistics depots.
To obtain intelligence, the agent surveyed the frontline area tracking the locations with high concentrations of Ukrainian military personnel and equipment.
She then marked the sites on Google Maps and sent the data via a messenger app to her FSB handler, whose identity has already been established by the SSU Counterintelligence.
The woman, like the rest of the agents in the network, came to the attention of russian intelligence when she published pro-kremlin comments on Telegram.
After recruitment, she began collecting coordinates for a new series of russian air strikes separately from the other assets in the group.
Based on the SSU’s investigation, the spotter has been found guilty under Article 111.2 of the CCU (high treason, committed under martial law).
The investigation was carried out by the SSU Office in Donetsk and Luhansk regions under the procedural supervision of Donetsk Region Prosecutor’s Office.
