Following SSU investigation, another traitor sentenced to 15 years in prison for helping ruscists bomb Kramatorsk
Based on the evidence collected by the Security Service, another agent of russian military intelligence (‘the GRU’) has been sentenced to 15 years in prison and confiscation of property. The SSU exposed the perpetrator in June 2025 while she was guiding enemy artillery, missiles and drones at targets in Donetsk region.
The investigation established that the agent identified and transmitted coordinates for strikes on Kramatorsk to occupiers.
The enemy asset turned out to be a local resident recruited by the aggressor. She came to the GRU’s attention when she posted pro-kremlin comments in groups on Odnoklassniki social network, justifying russia’s war crimes.
After one such post, the administrator of the online community – a GRU employee – contacted her and offered cooperation.
Following russia’s instructions, the woman walked around the frontline town to identify and transmit the geolocations of the Defence Forces to her handler.
She also reported to him on the aftermath of the shelling to adjust follow-up attacks and prepare new ones.
A smartphone that she used to collect intelligence and communicate with her handler was seized during the search of her home.
Based on the SSU’s investigation, the court found the accused guilty under two Articles of the CCU:
- 111.2 (treason committed under martial law);
- parts 2 and 3 of 436-2 (justification, recognition as lawful, or denying russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine, and glorification of its participants).
The operation was conducted by the SSU Office in Donetsk and Luhansk regions under the procedural supervision of Donetsk Region Prosecutor’s Office.
