Following SSU investigation, another traitor who helped ruscists shell Ukrainian positions in Donetsk region sentenced to 15 years in prison
Based on evidence collected by the Security Service, an FSB agent, exposed in March 2025 in Donetsk region, has been convicted to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property.
The investigation revealed that, under the guise of delivering bread to retail outlets in frontline settlements, the perpetrator was adjusting russian strikes on the region.
She attempted to reconnoitre the locations of backup command posts, logistics depots, and defensive strongholds of Ukrainian forces in the Kramatorsk sector.
The SSU documented the agent’s crimes and detained her following another reconnaissance mission in Kramatorsk. Simultaneously, action was taken to secure the locations of Donetsk region defenders which the traitor had identified.
A smartphone, which she used to photograph military facilities, mark their geolocations on Google Maps, and coordinate her actions with her FSB handler, was seized during the search of the suspect’s home.
The enemy accomplice turned out to be a local resident recruited by russia’s federal security service. She was spotted by them when she posted anti-Ukrainian comments in Telegram channel chat rooms.
After the recruitment, the asset began using work trips through the region to direct strikes against the Defence Forces, primarily strikes with guided aerial bombs.
Based on the SSU’s investigation, the court found the accused guilty under Article 111.2 of the CCU (high treason, committed under martial law).
The investigation was carried out by the SSU Office in Donetsk and Luhansk regions under the procedural supervision of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
