Following SSU investigation, traitor who adjusted russian airstrikes on Kyiv region using camera traps sentenced to 15 years in prison

Based on evidence collected by the Security Service, another FSB agent who adjusted russian air strikes on Kyiv region has been sentenced to 15 years in prison.

SSU cyber units detained the perpetrator in the spring of 2025 near a defense building, on which she was trying to adjust a russian missile strike.

To do that, the woman had to install a hidden camera with online streaming for russia’s federal security service opposite the restricted facility.

A video device and a phone with evidence of her work for the FSB were seized from the agent during the detention.

According to the investigation, russia’s order was carried out by a 30-year-old unemployed woman from Boryspil, who was recruited by the occupiers on a Telegram channel offering quick money.

After recruitment, the agent received geolocation data of potential targets from her handler, where she was to conduct reconnaissance and install camera traps.

To purchase Wi-Fi cameras, the asset received money from the russian special service on her bank card.

She also monitored the consequences of enemy strikes in Kyiv region. The individual periodically visited locations of interest to the occupiers.

Based on evidence collected by SSU investigators, the court found the accused guilty under Article 111.2 of the CCU (high treason, committed under martial law).

The investigation was carried out under the procedural supervision of the Office of the Prosecutor General.
