Following SSU investigation, traitor who adjusted russia’s bomb strikes on Kostiantynivka convicted to 15 years in prison

Based on the evidence collected by the Security Service of Ukraine, a traitor who was part of the FSB’s agent network and directed enemy strikes on the frontline town of Kostiantynivka has been sentenced to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property.

The SSU dismantled the cell in the spring of 2025 as a result of a special operation in Donetsk oblast. At that time, four agents were detained for spying in the Kramatorsk sector.

One of them has now been convicted to a prison sentence. She is a 49-year-old local unemployed woman who collected coordinates to help enemy attack the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

To do this, she recorded the locations of Ukrainian artillery, which fires at the invading assault troops.

The agent sent the collected data as text messages via messenger to a chatbot run by russia’s federal security service.

The perpetrator and other members of the intelligence network approached the russian service independently on Telegram, acted separately from each other, but had the same russian handler.

Based on the SSU’s investigation, the conviction was secured against the accused under Article 111.2 of the CCU for high treason committed under martial law.

The investigation was carried out by the SSU Office in in Donetsk and Luhansk regions under the procedural supervision of Donetsk Region Prosecutor’s Office.
