Following SSU investigation, traitor sentenced to 15 years in prison for guiding russian glide bombs at defenders of Lyman
Based on evidence collected by the Security Service, an enemy agent, detained by the SSU in July 2025 in Donetsk oblast, has been convicted to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property. The perpetrator directed enemy fire at the locations of the Defence Forces in Lyman sector.
The investigation established that a 51-year-old woman from Sviatohirsk, recruited by the ruscists, was responsible for directing the strikes. She was spotted through an acquaintance from russia who works for the russian intelligence services as a liaison.
The agent walked the frontline area to track the locations of Ukrainian troops. The ruscists used the intelligence received from her to prepare strikes with glide bombs and long-range artillery.
The targets were fortified areas, ammunition depots, and backup command posts of Lyman’s defenders.
After her reconnaissance trips, she summed up the data and sent it via a messenger app to the ‘liaison’.
A smartphone with evidence of her work for the enemy was seized during the search.
Based on the SSU’s investigation, the court found the accused guilty under Article 111.2 of the CCU (high treason, committed under martial law).
The investigation was carried out by the SSU Office in Donetsk and Luhansk regions under the procedural supervision of Donetsk Region Prosecutor’s Office.
