Following SSU’s investigation, another four militants, including Storm-Z sniper, sentenced to 15 years in prison

Based on the evidence collected by the SSU, another four traitors who fought against Ukraine’s Defence Forces on the eastern and southern fronts have been convicted to prison.

Ukrainian defenders captured three militants near Robotyne, and another one – during fighting near Maryinka.

The court sentenced them to 15 years in prison.

Two of the convicts are residents of the temporarily occupied part of Donetsk region, one of them - a prisoner of a local colony who joined the russian Storm-Z battalion in August 2023 to receive an amnesty.

He took part in battles in Zaporizhzhia sector, shelling Ukrainian positions near Robotyne.

Another perpetrator is an enemy sniper who joined the 1029th battalion of russian troops at the beginning of the invasion.

After a combat training course near Enerhodar, the sniper was transferred to the 42nd motorized rifle division of russia’s Southern military district.

He initially fought in Donetsk sector, and then was sent to a location near Berdiansk.

Another two convicts are residents of Crimea who took part in the occupation of Mariupol.

In December 2022, one of them joined russia’s 810th separate marine brigade. After training on the peninsula, he was deployed to the front line.

The second Crimean was appointed a rifleman in the 110th motorized rifle brigade of russia’s Southern military district.

Together with russian troops, he stormed Ukrainian positions near Maryinka.

Based on the evidence, the court found all four accused guilty under Article 111.2 of the CCU (high treason, committed under martial law).

Two of the militants have also been convicted under Article 111-1.7 of the CCU (collaboration, voluntary participation of a citizen of Ukraine in unlawful armed or paramilitary groups).

The investigation was carried out by the SSU Offices in Zaporizhzhia and Poltava regions under the procedural supervision of the regional Prosecutor’s Office.
